The home city of street style and laneway art is hotting up to host the Asia Pacific's first ever tradeshow and public expo for the streetwear sector. Taking place from 26 to 28 February in the heart of Melbourne, ground breaking street style showcase Buffet promises a feast of clothing, accessories, footwear and contemporary & street design and culture.
The heady mix of cutting edge international and local labels on the stands will include Akomplice, BK TM, Cakedout, For The Homies, Gear, Kangol, In4mation (pictured) Mishka, New Era, Norse Projects, True To Life and many more.
Comprising an industry tradeshow on Friday 26 February and a free public expo and market from Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 February, Buffet will also feature a launch party and themed side events.
A key feature of the event will be a series of four discussion forums featuring international and local guest speakers. The line up includes Jeff Staple, founder of renowned New York design studio Staple Design, as well as leading lights from the Asia Pacific streetwear scene such as Jacky Chia (Singapore), Chay Ataria (NZ), Luca Ionescu (Sydney), and Kym Purtell, founder and director of hip Melbourne label Fat.
Buffet will take place at The Factory, 500 La Trobe Street, Melbourne, from 26-28 February.
