Icebreaker grows its offer
Icebreaker has expanded its high performance sports range to meet growing demand for non synthetic performance clothing.
New styles for Spring/Summer 2009 include a variety of weights: Ultralite, Lightweight, Midweight and Expedition weight.
A spokesperson for the brand confirmed the range would include the Velocity Tank and the Velocity Crewe, while the short-sleeved Velocity Zip featured a reflective front zip and an elasticated stash pocket for storing a runner's iPod. Long-sleeved styles included the Chase Crewe and Chase Zip, while a new legging had also been designed to enhance the wearer's freedom of movement.
For women, Icebreaker_GT designs included the Dash Tank, the Dash Crewe and the Dash Zip, available in long and short-sleeved versions. Pants included the Rapid Leggings, featuring eyelet panels for venting, as well as articulated knees for ease of movement; and the Quantum Pant, featuring a smooth, hidden elastic waistband, fitted through the hip and thigh and fuller from the knee to the ankle.
Two new colours have also been introduced to the Icebreaker_GT ranges this season; Lobster (red) and Belize (ocean blue).
