The design team behind the re-brand of Fashion Exposed has launched its own blog. Melbourne boutique communications agency Taylor & Grace created The Graceful Taylor at gracefultaylor.com.au, with the aim of sharing creative inspiration in fashion, beauty, design, culture and food. "Highly professional, beautifully art directed blogs" will form a significant part of the site's content.
"Visiting a blog is not unlike reading a good magazine, but with a refreshing twist - is an exciting way of sharing news and exchanging ideas, inspiration and opinions with like minds. These blogs are particularly valuable to designers because of the easy access to a plethora of new and unmediated daily content."
Current Graceful Taylor content includes international street style blog The Sartorialist and a look at the thinking process behind the re-vamp of Fashion Exposed.
"We took our inspiration from the activities of the fair - the anticipation of the crowd, cameras flashing, discovering the new, dressing up and, of course, being a voyeur. We took the name of the fair and extended the idea of 'exposure' into a graphic concept. After all, everyone loves to watch!"
The Graceful Taylor is currently encouraging fashion and creative types to post their own comments, artwork and design, or make recommendations on other inspiring blogs.
"The Graceful Taylor finds beauty and inspiration in all manner of things. She's our muse, our treasure chest, the place where the team from Taylor & Grace records and shares what we draw inspiration from in the world around us. It might be the work of an artist that we find beautiful, or a piece of research that we find useful, or an idea whose time has come. It will always be something that we think is worth sharing."
