Vix swimwear goes on show

Swimwear label Vix is set to take the Australian market by storm when it makes its first appearance to leading industry buyers early next year. The high end label, created by designer Paula Hermanny, features the colours and allure of her native Brazil.

The label's unique selling points include a blend of Brazilian styling and on-trend insights garnered from Hermanny's current home of La Jolia, California, as well as her frequent international sourcing trips to Europe and Latin America.

The Vix swimwear range is also complemented with a range of accessories, dresses and wraps. Sub brands Sofia and Hermanny cater respectively to younger women and those with a preference for more conservative swimwear cuts.

Named for the beach city of Vitoria in Brazil, where Hermanny grew up, and distributed on these shores by Allegro Australia, Vix will debut at FASHION EXPOSED from 14 to 16 February at the Sydney Exhibition Centre.

Brazilian stuff has been done.. When is an Aussie designer going to come out with a collection that embodies what our surf culture is all about... and do it with style. I'm waiting!!
