New labels a drawcard for buyers

An array of new labels in the denim, lingerie and womenswear precincts at Fashion Exposed promise a great deal for buyers visiting the fair this August.

Topping the bill for the denim sector, first time exhibitor Jam Jeans (pictured left) will hit the fair with its new summer collection of men's and ladies' denim, offering on-trend styling, a great fit and an attainable price tag, as Jam Jeans' Jan Scherrer confirmed.

"For Jam Jeans, it's not just the wash, the amazing cut, or the label on the back, it's the colour of the stitching, our unique pocket details and interesting embroidery on the inside waistband that sets us apart. Using premium denim with just the perfect stretch, a cut that stylishly flatters every body shape into the right form, combined with the essential thing, a sense of humour and fun, assures you that you'll have a great time when you wear Jam Jeans."

Also new to the fair is quirky women's lingerie and sleepwear brand Cilla & Pepe (pictured right), whose collection of sexy sleepwear, pretty playwear, luscious lingerie and delicate handmade boudoir accessories brings something new to the womenswear market. The brand features ultra feminine nighties, pyjamas and negligés in sumptuous fabrics including silks, cottons and georgettes, as well as high glamour lingerie.

Meanwhile womenswear label Guanabana Designs, a previous exhibitor at Fashion Exposed, has signed up as a first time participant in new young high end design feature The Design Studio.

Launched in 2007 by Norwegian designer Linda Bergskas, Guanabana (pictured left) is a blend of relaxed glamour and high-end bohemian style, which brings timeless and alternative styling to the womenswear market. With stockists numbering around 100 selected stores Australia wide and expansion underway in the international fashion market Guanabana plans to further boost its profile at Fashion Exposed.

Jam Jeans, Cilla & Pepe and Guanabana will showcase their ranges at Fashion Exposed from 29-31 August at Melbourne Exhibition Centre.
