Spanish kidswear to sparkle at fair

29 June 2010

The childrenswear offering at Fashion Exposed looks set for a dash of European charm when Melbourne-based company Sparkle T showcases its latest ranges at the fair, including an exciting line from Spain.

Sparkle T's Tanya King confirmed the upcoming Melbourne fair in August would be the brand's second airing, having launched Spanish brand Tuc Tuc in Australasia at Sydney Fashion Exposed, February this year.

"We want to bring a bit of Spain to Melbourne!" she said. "We enjoy the face to face contact with our customers, gaining their valuable feedback and showcasing our beautiful, diverse range."

King described Sparkle T's target market as "any shop that wants to carry a European brand that's great quality and good value."

The company's market comprised mid-range price points and top end product, which was also complemented by the brand's toys and accessories.

New at Fashion Exposed Melbourne would be a range of hair accessories "perfect to complement the clothing range," she said. New Tuc Tuc gift packs would also be showcased at the event.

The company's quality and value for money products had stood it in good stead in a challenging market, she said.

"We are maintaining steady growth and are full of enthusiasm and optimism for the future."

As a fashion retailer who carries baby goods and gifts as a supplement to my store, I am pleased to see a new range of baby / kids items that are of good quality and complement the toys, etc. I hope they are well price pointed and can be purchased in small quantities as I am not wholly a children's wear store.
