ISSUE 5 WE LOVE...

From left to right: Maiocchi, Calibre, David Lawrence.

Brisbane frockster Maiocci has a flair for beautifully made dresses and skirts. The one pictured allows the wearer to take your day in the country with you wherever you go, be it the races or the office.

The trend for carrying pinatas is unlikely to catch on - but if anyone can make a pinata swing it's menswear label Calibre. Calibre's 20th birthday campaign is the reason for the colourful accessory.

Nothing glams things up quite like a sequined cardi. From vintage versions to the very sleek number by David Lawrence pictured here, girly girls and chic chicks of all ages should have one.

ISSUE 4 WE LOVE...

Love From Venus    Top Shop Poppy Dress    Vintage flapper brooch

From left to right: Love From Venus, Top Shop Poppy Dress, vintage flapper brooch.

Fall for Love From Venus (LFV) jewellery, in which each piece is adorned with charms and trinkets. The keys, coins and tassels apparently all have meanings, but most of all they're charming.

This Poppy Frill Front Dress from Top Shop has picked up the floral print fetish and run with it. Celebs from Sienna to Dame Edna are donning florals, and why not, with spring hotting up?

There's nothing like a bit of vintage to give your look a boost. This porcelain flapper brooch, featuring a headdress of white rhinestones and a rhinestone beauty mark, would get any wearer noticed.

ISSUE 3 WE LOVE...

   Autograph                 Akira
From left to right: Autograph cotton print shirt, Gorman Luna heel, Akira tunic dress and scarf.

UK retailer Marks & Spencer was once famed for generic, sensible product, but in recent years it has put the spark into 'Marks & Sparks', diversifying its offer with brands such as Autograph - here featuring a cotton floral print shirt for boys. Gorgeous.

The Luna heel by Gorman looks good enough to eat and is a shoe to get wearers in the mood for spring. In Gorman's signature enticing multi-tone palette and featuring not-too-high uplift, it's a wearable treat for your feet.

If you want to feel like a work of art in the making, you could do worse than donning anything made by Akira Isogawa, whose latest collection starts hitting stores this month. Model wears the Metallic Printed Tunic Dress & Hand Painted Shibori Scarf.

Soft felt fedora       Chocolate City Capone Wool Suit     Mimco Viking Satchel
From left to right: Fedora hat by Fat4, Capone suit by Chocolate City, Mimco Viking Satchel.

For hat fans, it's hard to go past this vintage style soft felt Fedora with pleated band by Fat4. Team it with denim, tee and waistcoat for a slouchy, artsy vibe or update the Annie Hall style with a white shirt and a tailored suit.

This dangerously named Capone suit by Chocolate City is sharp enough to do some damage, showing men's threads are making a comeback beyond the realm of the office. A crisp white shirt and slick shoes complete the Mafioso look.

Whether you're jetting off on a plane or trawling your favourite retail spots, the Mimco Viking Satchel makes a fresh statement for the upcoming spring and summer seasons while also being practical and spacious enough to carry all your gear.

ISSUE 1 WE LOVE...

Morrison Ondrea Jacket      Isabela Capeto Dress      Dries Van Noten trench
From left to right: Morrison Ondrea cap sleeve jacket, Isabela Capeto maxi dress, Dires Van Noten trench

WA label Morrison has created a very cool number with the Ondrea cap sleeved jacket. Elegant enough to be worn over a frock for work and hip enough to work a more streetwise look, it's eye catching without being too out there to wear season after season.

If you're after a taste of Latin sass, look no further than the glorious Isabela Capeto. A star in her native Brazil, Capeto has created this floating confection for her summer 2010 range, combining the relaxed sensibility of a warm night on the Copa Cabana with the chic of monochrome striping.

The trench trend looks set to run and run, with this gorgeous black satin coat dress hybrid by Dries Van Noten embodying everything that's best about the look - sexiness, timeless style and an easy, fling-it-on feel. Not of course for the budget conscious, but nevertheless a sound investment.
