With summer getaways approaching, a travel bag is a much overlooked essential. If you like buying local and love to stand out, this Ella Maiden duffle is the go.

When Country Road launched Trenery, it touted the brand as a must for "mature shoppers", but the latest season's releases give that dubious tag the lie. They're cool!

Kate Moss' latest collection for UK uber retailer Top Shop is full of eastern promise; blending colourful oriental notes with la Moss' signature contemporary London style.

Which is more enticing; accessories label Catherine Manuell Designs' latest product, or the imagery created to promote it? No matter, the whole package is knock-out.

Melbourne label Sideshow Design promises what every nostalgic girl craves; a treasure trove of romantic, vintage, 1940s style frocks, lingerie and girls' stuff. Magic.

Apparently there's a season in the offing that has something to do with horses... although those in the know, like Sportsgirl with this head turning Peacock clip, understand what spring racing is really about.

It's tempting to holler as your horse approaches the finish, but this very ladylike dress by David Lawrence will ensure you keep your dignity. If your horse is a winner, the frock ensures your outfit will be too.

The Spinning Bangles might sound like an eighties pop ensemble but actually it's a very easy-on-the-eye collection of wrist grabbers comprising 16 sterling silver designs, each adorned with engravings and little pendants. Team with a maxi dress for boho chic.

Be warned. It's safe to say that anything from Melbourne designer Elise Caarels is likely to trigger the credit card reflex. With its pockets and detachable strap, this particular model does at least offer the guilt waiving excuse of being functional as well as desirable.

Big it up for Jeanswest, which continues its great customer service pledge with the launch of the Extra Long Denim line. Available by special order online or in store, these are a must for those leggy creatures the ‘stumpies' among us can only admire and envy.
